Morning / Peleș Castle
- I’ll pick you up from your Brașov hotel and drive to Peleș Castle. We’ll explore the grand interiors, secret corners, and I’ll share stories of Romanian royalty and the castle’s fascinating history. The surrounding gardens and mountain backdrop make for perfect photo opportunities.
Late Morning / Sinaia Monastery
- A short walk from the castle brings us to Sinaia Monastery, one of the oldest Orthodox sites in the region. I’ll guide you through its serene grounds, colorful frescoes, and history that dates back centuries.
Lunch / Moieciu de Jos
- We drive to Moieciu de Jos, a picturesque village in the Bucegi foothills, where we’ll enjoy a traditional Romanian lunch in a local restaurant. You’ll get to taste homemade dishes and experience genuine mountain hospitality.
Afternoon / Amfiteatrul Transilvaniei
- After lunch, we’ll visit Amfiteatrul Transilvaniei, a scenic open-air spot offering spectacular views over the surrounding mountains and valleys. It’s a perfect place to stretch, take photos, and enjoy the beauty of Transylvania off the beaten path.
Late Afternoon / Bran Castle
- Our final stop is Bran Castle, open until 7:30 pm. We’ll explore its towers, hidden stairways, and hear the legendary tales of Dracula while enjoying a quieter, less crowded castle experience in the evening light.
Return
- After a full day of castles, monasteries, stunning landscapes, and stories, we drive back to Brașov in the early evening.
